Other Washington State Community Councils
Communities throughout Washington use community councils to draft sub-area plans and discuss community concerns. We've listed a few of those councils below for you to explore, or you can view a tabular comparison of a few we've researched. We're trying to create a comprehensive directory, so if you know of a community council not on this list, please contact us.
Note: island counties are not authorized to establish community councils under RCW 36.105 because that particular statute has been invalidated by the state Supreme Court. Citizens of Washington counties must rely on their county legislative authorities to recognize their councils.
